Giuseppe Verdi Foundation Simphonic Orchestra

The "Orchestra" of Milan Giuseppe Verdi, founded in 1993 by Vladimir Delman, it became one of the most important symphonic national reality, able to cope with a repertoire that ranges from Bach to the tenets of nineteenth-century symphonic music to music of the twentieth century.
Music Director de la Verdi is Zhang Xian, while Ruben Jais plays the role of Resident Director - Head of Artistic Activities.
In 1999 it was inaugurated, with the Symphony no. 2 Resurrection of Mahler conducted by Riccardo Chailly, the new home of the Orchestra, the Auditorium of Milan is considered one of the best concert halls in Italy, for its aesthetic, technological and acoustic.
The billboard of the Orchestra includes every year more than thirty symphonic programs, where the classics are joined by more unusual pages. With its repeated weekly concerts on Thursday, Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons laVerdi presents its Concert Season from September to June at the Auditorium of Milan Cariplo.
With it there’s the exhibition “Growing Music” for children and their families, the Sunday matinee of the cycle on Sunday morning with la Verdi, introduced and conducted by Maestro Giuseppe Grazioli and laVerdi fourth season baroque vocal and instrumental ensemble, conducted by Maestro Ruben Jais.
Some concerts mark the recurring musical path of the Greens: the annual appointment with one of the great passions of Bach near the Easter holidays and the New Year's concert with Beethoven is Ninth Symphony.
Another distinguishing feature of the Orchestra is the establishment of the Symphonic Choir, led by Choir Master Erina Gambarini and the Choir directed by Maria Teresa Tramontin.
